Personal accountability allows you to move away from a mindset where things happen in your life without your consent or influence,
and embrace your role in the way your life is shaped by taking control of and responsibility for your actions.

AFFIRMATIONS
Forms of autosuggestion in which a statement of a desirable intention or condition is repeated in a quiet and restful state of mind and
body, and when the desired outcome is vividly experienced in one's mind and emotions. Positive affirmations are viewed as a
mobilization of one's inner resources and a very powerful means of reprogramming the unconscious mind.

ASSERTIVENESS TRAINING
Assertiveness training is a form of behavior therapy designed to help people stand up for themselves—to empower themselves. A type
of behavior therapy in which people are taught appropriate methods of asserting themselves in various situations through honest and
direct expression of their feelings.

CO-DEPENDENCY
Codependency is a condition in which a person is controlled or manipulated by another who is affected with an abusive addiction.
Recovery helps you restore yourself to a better state or condition.

COPING SKILLS
Coping is the process of managing difficult circumstances, expending effort to solve personal and interpersonal problems, and
seeking to master, minimize, reduce or tolerate stress or conflict.

CRAVINGS & STRESS MANAGEMENT
The skills, methods, and techniques involved in managing and reducing stress and  drug cravings.

DEVELOPING SELF-ESTEEM & WELLBEING
Self relevant beliefs and emotions which shape one’s individual feelings and worth of him/herself.

GOAL SETTING
Setting a specific, time targeted personal objective. In order for both short term and long term goals to be met, they must be realistic
and clearly defined.  

HOPE, COURAGE, & BELIEF IN SELF
Hope is a belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one's life. Courage, also known as bravery and fortitude,
is the ability to confront fear, pain, danger, uncertainty or intimidation. Beliefs are any ideas you think are true about yourself, others,
and life.

JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ is more than a system, tradition, or belief. He is a Person who knows our needs, feels our pain, and sympathizes with
our weakness. In exchange for our trust, He offers to forgive our sins, to intercede for us, and to bring us to His Father. He cried for us,
died for us, and rose from the dead to show that He was all He claimed to be. Conquering death, He showed us that He can save us
from our sins and addictions, live His life through us on earth, and then bring us safely to heaven. He offers Himself as a gift to anyone
who will trust Him ( John 20:24-31)

LEARNING SELF-CONTROL
Self-Control is the exertion of one's own will on their personal self - their behaviors, actions, thought processes.

LIFESTYLE DEVELOPMENT
Learning how to change your lifestyle to one supporting of success & sobriety.

MOTIVATION & BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION
A form of psychotherapy that uses basic learning techniques, such as conditioning, biofeedback, reinforcement, or aversion therapy, to
modify maladaptive behavior patterns by substituting new responses to given stimuli for undesirable ones. The tools aimed at
inspiring individuals to plan their goals, reach their dreams, and become drug free.
