Common Sense: If you want to learn how to be a criminal-go to jail. If you want to use drugs legally-go see a psychiatrist. If you wanted to learn how to get healthy-join a health club. If you want a close relationship with God-pray & join a bible study. If you want to learn how to be an alcoholic-join Alcoholics Anonymous. If you want to overcome your alcohol addiction-find responsible friendships. If you want to avoid taking responsibility for your addiction-blame it on a disease.

12-step believers
Before jumping up and down claiming 'it works if you work it' without any facts, we suggest you visit your local jail,
hospital, homeless shelter, detox centers, halfway houses, streets, and parks and ask those whose AA's doctrine of
powerlessness and group dependency has harmed and the lives AA has lead astray. Notice how they blame diseases
for their lack of self-control, living relapse to relapse, and sobriety always depends on the group. Believing in a false
religion and never coming to an understanding of the true God. 12 steppers blindly proclaiming AA 'works' while
forgetting to include all those who failed their program isn't being truthful to those in need of help. We challenge
you to provide us with a control group study proving AA is better than no treatment.

Followup Surveys on Court-ordered treatment
Regarding the follow up surveys on court-ordered treatment. Before we can begin taking the surveys there are major
obstacles we have to overcome first for the surveys to be creditable, including registering you at the time you are
ordered to attend treatment. The court-ordered followup surveys do not and cannot include those of you who have
already been through treatment. We hope to be registering addicts some time in the future. Until then please participate
in our online surveys, as these surveys give us clues on what questions we should ask and an estimation on treatments
success and failure rates.
We Need Your Voice
The legislators are in session and this is the time to share our voice about addiction treatment. We encourage those
of you who attended treatment and had the disease model of addiction forced on you to speak up. Write a brief
description on how and why you feel treatment failed to help you and send it to all the legislators as soon as possible.
They will only be in session for the next 3 weeks. Contact us for the senators & representatives email address link.
